With interest in youth tennis booming, it’s easy to find a partner, but finding court space can be tricky. Both the city of Coos Bay and Coos Bay School District have talked about solving the problem for months, but nothing has happened.
That may soon change.
A private group, with the help of a local nonprofit organization, has a plan in place to bring more hard courts to the Bay Area.
At a board meeting last week, the Boys & Girls Club of Southwestern Oregon agreed to plans for constructing four tennis courts next to its facility in Coos Bay. Read more about it Wednesday in The World. |
